Very nice bro...exquisite dio. How long did it take to build that environment?

I'm not really into military figures but I'm guessing these are Pacific Marines taking out a whole Japanese squad..

Japs never hit one Marine? I'm guessing a treacherous ambush ;D

Di naman. Sandali lang natapos yun. Matagallang yung papermache for the ground work kasi yun lang ang magaang para sa lumang mahjong table na bulokbulok na nakita ko sa likod ng bahay. Yung wall na styropore sinaksakan ko lang ng pebbles then painted some diluted poster paint para mukhang adobe. Yungmga bato basta pinatong ko lang sa ground work. Ground painted with mud-like color (halohalong poster paint). Mga puno galing sa mga twigs sa paligid ng bahay. All this plus a good digicamera..."voila", pwede na mag post. The dio has since been destroyed after being left out during a rain. At least I still have the pics.

Yung theme nito pala is something like foolish courage. Jap soldiers, particularly officers, during WW2 would rather die fighting than surrender.

The Bushido Code was certainly their downfall.. btw any new dio like this one? I'll post some pics soon too but it would not be as cool as this.

I'm thinking of something right now- Bataan defenders-, but I'm still trying to find the time to do a dio and phot session. Busy kasi ngayon. And, I'm also waiting for more Jap releases. Kokonti lang mga hapon ko e. Soon...I hope.

Medyo mismatch di ba? The Japs are few and of different branches. Half are imperial marines and half are imperial army, two are pilots. Kulang pa, yung uniforms kasi ng jap army are 21st century brand which have already gone out of production. Kung Bataan kasi dapat maraming hapon.

I'm very impressed with those Jap and US WWII military figs..yup 1/6 toy company needs to create more japanese soldiers. I had a phase when I was fascinated with the so called panahon ng hapon..a good thing I wasn't into 1/6th then.
