Gulat din ako a few months ago nung linabas nila dun yung mga Resrevoire Dogs" ng Palisade Toys. Hasrd to find na nga mga ito and they were sold at less than 1000.00 each. nakabili ako nito sa TK last october. 3 figs(mr.white,mr.orange and joe cabot) 600 each. price nya before sa price tag 1999.75 each. nung binili ko sila hindi ko alam na rare pala, kaya ko lang binili dahil sa damit tulad ng suit ni mr. orange and white. the 1st time i heard na rare ito ay nung nabasa ko post mo sir jl. may info ka ba sa mga figs na ito? kasi sinubukan ko i-search dati sa OSW wala ako nakita eh. salamat! regards, jake Wala na talaga yan, Jake, kasi alam ko nag sara na yang palisade toys na yan, or, hindi na sila gumagawa ng 1/6th na figures. merong lalabas ulit na "Reservior Dogs" na figs pero baka sideshow toys and maglalabas. Yung mga 1/6th vehicles pala kung inyong manotice ay merong red tag. It means sale mga ito kaya mababa ang presyo. I also noticed another reason why... merong mga defect ang karamihan sa mga ito, so better check it before buying. Yung jeeps madalas yung front seats merong balil sa connection to the jeep's body. Yung kettenkrad naman either bali yung gear shift o yung trailer. Pero...pwede na rin kasi konting mighty bond lang and it's good to go. Meron pang 2 figure per vehicle na kasama (Maconaughey- did I spell that right? - and Zahn characters with the Sahara jeep, and 2 German Afrikakorps with the kettenkrad). Sa tingin ko sa hirap maghanap dito ng mga ganyan e OK na yun. ;D |

Yes most of these jeeps have defects. When I saw them sa Robinson's Place, Ermita, there were 4 of them. 2 of those have serious defects. Only one was clean but the price tag was wrong. The 1.5k price (for the Kettenkrad) was placed by mistake by the salescrew to the box of the jeep, kaya nagkabaliktad mga prices... Baka kasi mapa mahal pa kayo... kung type niyo naman yung Kettenkrad for 1.2k okay lang... hehehe
It's a great bargain I believe.... only comes once in a while kaya binili ko na rin.... Good luck!

The one's I bought were all in good condition, including the MGs. Yes, pretty much OK. As long as the tires spin properly and the winshield is OK. The seats like Doc mentioned happened on the Airborne jeep , but nothing hard to fix, just drill insert a copper wire , glue it then its stronger. But still it is still cheap...as a static display it is a standout.
The 2 German uniform on the kettenkrad are rare and has a high value. I swap one of mine for a soldier story nude S2 figure.

Need advice,balak ko gawin WWII MG Willys Jeep yung Sahara Jeep.Ano kayang magandang shade ng green ang puedeng gamitin.Meron kasi akong Army Green paint parang masyadong dark ang shade.Thanks

Need advice,balak ko gawin WWII MG Willys Jeep yung Sahara Jeep.Ano kayang magandang shade ng green ang puedeng gamitin.Meron kasi akong Army Green paint parang masyadong dark ang shade.Thanks try mo sir olive drab na hobby paints PUEDE! hehehe sige sana pagbalik ko meron pa..convinced na ako! salamat sa pics niyo! sir nakabili ka kanina sa rob manila? guys, saan pa meron nito? kanina nakabili ako sa TK southmall. meron pa isa jeep at apat na kettenkrad dun baka maabutan mo pa. 1k each. ito sila, hindi ko pa nabubuksan, hehe!  |
